At least it's much less work than to paint your walls ;-)

200707_Budapest

It was a hot night in Budapest. Laci invited for his annual summer party in Budapest. So together with 2 friends from martrix I headed for the Hungarian capital and after 3 hours driving from Vienna we checked into "hotel Rio" where we had some drinks listening to Modern Talking songs.

Later we met Laci and the others at Heroes' Square where I learned a lot of Hungarian history. After a rich meal at Manna near Buda Castle and a fast drive with Bogi to the island Hajógyári-Sziget we found ourselves in the club Bed Beach - a little bit fete blache atmosphere without the white clothes. There we partied and danced till early with big bad Wolf.

Waking up at Rio's old apartment after too less hours sleep we set out to fetch my car from the city where we left it the night before.It was weekend so it was not dangerous at all to leave the car unattended for the night, as Rio assured me. Rio headed to the Balaton and I got a short tour of the city thanks to my wonderful personal city guide Barbara. On the way back home we were just glad that we drove into the right direction. The autobahn was crammed with cars heading for the Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix.

After several visits at IKEA and one failed delivery finally my couch arrived. And after one week more I even have assembled the thing ;-)

A TV bank and a small red metall locker almost complete my new living room. Only thing that is still missing is a new couch table. It was already delivered but the glass tabletop did not survive the drive. One more try next week or so.

Really fantastic concert of the french duo in the damn hot Arena (indoor) in Vienna.

After the rather boring concert two years ago at Schönbrunn they rocked the house this time and people did not only sweat because of the incredible heat in the Arena.

The next two friends that affirm their relationship by marriage. It was a beautiful festivity with a beautiful bride on a too hot day.

Nevertheless we partied till early and sold our wedding newspaper. The whole celebration was a success and a lot of fun.

Micro blogging! On twitter you can tell your friends and the whole world what you are doing at the moment. With the notifications function you can even get updates from your friends directly on your phone via SMS.

Makes a lot of fun but don't forget to switch you phone to silent over night. Especially if you have friends who have updates at really strange hours.

Moving in my new apartment in Vienna. After some visits at IKEA its almost homy. And my newest acquisition, a 200 x 140 cm picture of the Flat Iron Building in New York. Funnily enough I skyped recently with two friends in Australia, to whom I showed the picture. They told me that some days before they were at IKEA and thinking about buying exactly the same picture. I guess thats globalisation! ;-)
